Graphis 2010 win

Just got the news that my fencing image will be included in the Graphis 2010 Poster Annual. I’m very happy about this as this was a test job for 32 bit HDR retouching techniques and also included 3D water created in realflow and rendered in modo.

Special thanks to:

Website update

I have been busy rewriting the backend of the website which will make content updates much easier. There are some new recent images that I’ve done for Jigsaw in the states and for DDB here in France. Lots more 3D work coming up, look out. Enjoy the site.

Trust Me

I have just received word that the fencing ad for which I did the 3D water & retouching, will appear on a TV show coming out Monday, January 26 at 10/9c on TNT. (See link further down)

Apparently the image will be up in the office of one of the main characters on the show. How do ya like that?

The image was produced with Matt Johanning over at LSB and shot by Dave Gilo Photography, great guys.

It stars Eric McCormack from Will & Grace and Tom Cavanaugh from the show “Ed.”

The show is set at an ad agency in Chicago.

Here’s the synopsis:

From the Executive Producers of NIP TUCK and THE CLOSER, TRUST ME is a smart, humorous look at two friends and co-workers who are better together than they are apart. While they may have different styles, their friendship is based on one simple thing…trust. And that’s what you need in the “what have you done for me lately” world of Chicago advertising. They always know they have each others’ back. But now their friendship will be tested like never before…when one becomes the other’s boss.

Horizon Scripted Television Inc., a new division of Warner Bros, is working in conjunction withTNT to produce the 12 episode series, “Trust Me”.

Cast Leads: Eric McCormack, Thomas Cavanagh, Monica Potter, Griffin Dunne.

Executive Producers: Hunt Baldwin, John Coveny, Greer Shephard, Michael M. Robin.

Writers: Rob Ulin, Peter Noah, Joy Gregory, John Hlavin, Angela Russo.

Directors: Michael M. Robin, Craig Zisk, Rick Wallace, Matt Shackman, Scott Ellis, Greer Shephard, Nelson McCormick.

This just in, I’ll be mentioned along with other great creatives in a special feature over at the Communication Arts website on Dec 12th 2008. Afterwards it will be available in the archive system.

The article is about pro bono work for Milwaukee Community Health Centers.

The project was art directed by Jennifer Kuhn from Jigsaw and photographed by Michael Prince. I had the pleasure of retouching Michael’s great images. We took out existing signage and replaced it with text relating to the concept amongst many other artistic tweaks.
